Congratulations to the inductees who successfully became Probationary members, having completed the final part of their inductee training last Saturday. They were required to put all the skills learned over several previous weekend training sessions into undertaking a missing and injured person scenario. They had to use search techniques, first aid, navigation, communications and stretcher evacuation and they passed with flying colours. Now they are ready to answer call outs and begin the REAL training, which can take up to two years, to become full team members.
