Formed in 1980, the North West Mountain Rescue Team is a Chartitable voluntary organisation No. XR 61304 that provides a search and rescue service, which operates in mountainous or remote areas of Northern Ireland, in particular the Sperrin Mountains, Co. Fermanagh and the Antrim Plateau.
